This milestone represents an important step forward in our mission to drive sustainable energy solutions and create a greener future.

We are delighted to announce the successful closing of the financing for our PPA photovoltaic project with ÇIMSA and EBN Banco. The structure is based on a long-term, non-recourse green loan to ID ENERGY, linked to the PPA signed with ÇIMSA. This structured and strategic financing operation is backed by EBN Banco as the Financing Entity.

Details of the Operation

EBN Banco and ID Energy Group have signed a financing agreement in the form of a GREEN LOAN for €3.4 million for the construction and operation of the photovoltaic park of ÇIMSA CEMENTOS ESPAÑA, located in Buñol, in the province of Valencia.
The law firm Montero & Aramburu acted as legal advisor to EBN Banco, while Company Legal Partners served as legal advisor to ID Energy Group.

A heartfelt thank you to our partners for their invaluable support and collaboration. Together, we are making a positive impact on the environment and paving the way for innovative renewable energy projects.

The Goal Is to Improve Access to Renewable Energy as Part of the UNHCR’s SMEs for Refugees Program, Benefiting Communities and Ensuring a Better Future for New Generations

Ciudad Real, September 30, 2021 – Staying true to its commitment to positively contribute to society and the planet through sustainability, the photovoltaic energy company ID Energy Group has joined the SMEs for Refugees campaign to help promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in collaboration with UNHCR.

The purpose of this program is to mobilize resources to support UNHCR projects, assisting millions of people who have been forcibly displaced — particularly women and children who are vulnerable to health and safety risks.

Benito Puebla, CEO of the business group, emphasized:

“At ID Energy Group, we are proud to contribute our small part to such an important cause. As a renewable energy company, we play a strategic role in driving actions that can help transform reality and shape a brighter future. We are fully aware of the need to act every day for the good of society — we are all agents of change. Our commitment is strong, and we will continue to stand by it.”

This initiative aligns with the company’s recent rebranding and marks the sixth anniversary of the adoption of the 2030 Agenda, approved on September 25, 2015.

Driving Corporate Contribution to Sustainable Development

Six Years Ago, the United Nations General Assembly Approved the 2030 Agenda with Its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a Universal Call to Action to End Poverty, Protect the Planet, and Reduce Inequality

Approved unanimously by the 193 participating states, including Spain, the agreement was anchored in the principle of “leaving no one behind.”

To achieve such an ambitious agenda, the participation of all key actors for change was deemed essential: governments, businesses, civil society, and individuals. The impact of the 2030 Agenda lies in its universal nature and the ambition of its 169 targets. Meeting these goals demands an unprecedented collective effort across all sectors of society — and businesses have a crucial role to play in this mission.
